FORKS OF THE CREDIT TOPOGRAPHICAL TERRAIN MODEL
January - April 2014
Course: Land-Use Planning Studio I | PLG420
In this technical exercise, I used corrugated cardboard to create a three-dimensional scale terrain model of an area near the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park in Ontario. I analyzed my individual site through an abiotic perspective, which included the analysis of soil types and hydrological features. Analyzing my site through a biotic and cultural perspective, I created an interactive interpretative landscape model with coloured translucent sheets to depict the importance of comprehensive environmental planning and the importance of the Niagara Escarpment Plan in protecting each layer of the landscape.
