In an intensive, time-constrained case competition, our group proposed innovative planning and transportation ideas for the City of Hamilton's future Queenston Traffic Circle Light Rail Transit (LRT) terminus station. Our presentation focussed on the potential of the adjacent Hydro corridor that could act as an active transportation and urban agricultural corridor. We analyzed and followed the City of Hamilton's Official Plan policies, zoning by-laws, neighbourhood plans, transit-orientated development guidelines, and various staff reports.  Our proposal was chosen as the runner-up out of 8 teams, which were comprised of students from each accredited planning program in Ontario, both undergraduate and graduate.
